TRIP REPORT: Crest Trail & AT Loop

Trail: Crest Trail, Virginia Highlands Horse Trail, Appalachian Trail, Wilson Creek
Weather: Rain and fog with some snow on the ground. Right around freezing.
Notes: We hiked this loop in cold weather, and a little bit of rain and fog. We saw ponies and stayed in the Wise shelter for the night. The loop started and ended from Scales, which was an adventure on it’s own to reach in the vehicle.
