The Daniel Ridge trail is a great hike in the Pisgah National Forest. An easy 5 mile loop takes you on a great tour of numerous waterfalls and cascades. Hiked counter clockwise, the trail climbs and descends gently.
There are plenty of campsites directly adjacent to the waterfalls on the lower portion of the trail. If you cross the bridge and go left along the trail, you will find numerous established sites. Be careful as the rocks around the waterfalls are slippery and some of the trails to the falls are steep and not established or maintained paths.
